One of the users on the NCIX Gaming Steam group has been talking about his ongoing NES PC build for quite some time and I promised him that if it was cool enough I’d post it up on my blog.
After many weeks of “should I order this” and “this piece is coming” he finally sent me a few (30MB… Ever heard of resizing, dude?) pictures of his build so here they are.
He went with an nVidia ION platform because this is intended to be HD ready and able to playback Blu-Ray movies (hence the blu-ray drive). It’s a ghetto mod, but a very cool little project. He (and I) hopes you like it.

I keep expecting to hear the voice from Portal saying: “As part of a requited test protocol, we will stop enhancing the truth in 3…2….1…”

Way 2 fail Nemaster. More airflow needed
Wow this would be a kickass mod… except for the fact that he ripped slothfish’s idea of a NESputer over at OCN.
here’s some pics of a better version.

gg baddie.
Who said this was an original mod? I just felt like making it. And Jackie, I know it needs moar airflow. Just gotta find a way to mount more fans to air.
Thanks iamsarcasm, I do feel pretty ripped off haha. You have to give this guy some credit for the effort though.
too bad slothfish is betta.
This mod’s been around for quite some time, and quite a few people have made it. I’m pretty sure there’s very few that are the same, because of different people’s ways of mounting things. A quick google for “NES PC” will turn up quite a few results. This is probably one of the most common mods out there.
Um haha. NES PC is ancient. You name is and someone has put an ITX motherboard in it.
Nemaster is one of my gaming buddies though, so I posted his mod on my blog. He never said it was one of a kind.
Nemaster, I think you can get away with 2x of these
