I know it’s another OCZ power supply unboxing right on the heels of the last one, but that just happens to be what I have on hand at the moment. This one is for my mum’s new PC. She’s been doing a lot of work at home and her laptop can’t do it anymore, so I put together a nice little machine for her and I thought this 500W SXS would be a great addition to it.

Got an opportunity to take a look at a new addition to the Z-Series from OCZ. This is just like the other Z-Series units in that it’s very efficient, but it looks to cut costs for users who don’t care about a modular interface. Good value to be had here :)

Corsair TX750 Power Supply First Look & Unboxing

The reason for all the power supply unboxings lately is that I’m planning an episode of NCIX Tech Tips where basically I explain the benefits of non-modular vs modular power supplies. This one is to be my example of an excellent non-modular power supply.

Antec CP-850 CPX Modular Power Supply First Look & Unboxing

This power supply is HUGE. I cannot overstate how large it is. There’s a new one coming soon that I’d also like to have a look at, but for now the 850W will do :)

Today I’ll be unboxing a power supply first. This is the modular OCZ Z-Series Gold 1000W. It’s 80+ Gold Certified, and full of lots of other great features!

The Antec Earthwatts 650W is a very popular unit right now so I thought I’d give my viewers a chance to check it out. I’m also trying out a new camera, so we’ll see how the quality is.

Corsair HX650 Professional Modular Power Supply Unboxing

The successor to the iconic HX620 power supply brings 30 more watts of power, a different colour scheme, and some other cool new features.

But here goes another one! I checked out the XFX 850W Black Edition power supply I LOVE the look of this thing, and even if you don’t really like the look, you gotta admit it’s great to see someone shaking things up a little bit. The last thing we need is more plain black boxes with sleeved black cables coming out of them.

I also took a quick boo at the latest LGA1156 CPU cooler for Arctic Cooling. The Freezer 7 Pro was an icon for “performance per dollar” and the new version maintains that rock bottom pricing and great feature set.
