Got a new video on my blog today. I’m checking out the Aspire Revo on my park bench. Reason for the park bench is (as before) the good natural lighting and proximity to the office. Haha. Basically I sneak out for a few minutes, make my video, then get back to work as if nothing happened *whistles casually*

Kinda a silly edition of NCIX Tech Tips. We got a sample of the eVGA GTS 250 512MB graphics card that launched today. As usual we don’t really run any benchmarks, but rather we try to talk about what’s interesting and new. Not much interesting or new about this card, but the new price is definitely a reason to be excited. There are some launch promotions coming that should be very exciting. It’s good to see widespread availability right on launch day, but we’ve come to expect that from nVidia. Without further ado, enjoy our humorous first look at the GTS 250!

I’ve been putting off even uploading this to my blog because it’s pretty freakin’ terrible. Me and the cameraman basically were like “Okay, we’ve got this thing… Let’s unbox it!”

We both had a lot on our plates that day, so we didn’t have a lot of time. In our haste to film, we forgot to remove the receiver for the wireless microphone I usually use, so we got no sound. Enjoy my terrible voice-over skills while we unbox the nVidia 3D Vision

Wow. Three video posts in a row here! We’ve been very busy with these GPU launches, and we’re very proud of the results (except for maybe Monitor Man… You’ll have to watch the video to see what I’m talking about :p).

Another Tech Tips already! We actually shot these both on the same day (you can kinda tell from the fact that the horrible zit is still on my chin… I refuse to wear make-up for this) and that’s been part of what’s made this such a busy launch.

A lot goes into a product launch besides fun things like YouTube videos, so I’m glad we still had time to get these out the door. I hope you enjoy part II of our January 8th launch videos.
