Gigabyte X58A-UD7 Core i7 X58 SLI Motherboard Unboxing & First LookPosted by: Linus on 8th December 2009Forgot to write a description for this. I didn’t actually mean to make it public, but YouTube fails. I wanted to fix the black borders before making it visible to everyone. I guess it’s out there now so I might as well leave it. Gigabyte P55-UD3R P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 8th September 2009I had totally thought I was done with the Gigabyte P55 unboxing videos, but I wasn’t! I forgot this board was even coming out until I saw it in the warehouse on Friday before the long weekend. I took it with me to Seattle intending to actually shoot the episode while I was there, but it didn’t happen until I got home Sorry guys! Intel Core i5 Overclocking Tutorial (NCIX Tech Tips #48)Posted by: Linus on 4th September 2009I have to confess that doing a follow up to one of my most watched episodes ever was a bit of a daunting task. I’ve slaved away at this guide since I’ve had my hands on the appropriate hardware, and I think that it’s worlds better than the first one. We give some real settings that people can dial in and use as a starting point for their own overclocking efforts, and I think we’ve done a better job of keeping things accessible for people who are just starting out. I really hope you enjoy the Core i5 P55 overclocking guide! Gigabyte P55M-UD2 P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 30th August 2009It’s a bit of a challenge to try to find advantages to give the regular viewers who check out my blog, but maybe I’ll reveal the upcoming videos that you can look forward to once we’re done our Gigabyte P55 unboxing series. The next group of P55 boards coming in are going to be from eVGA, so I’ll be diligently unboxing all of those as soon as I can get my grubby hands on them. Stay tuned!! Gigabyte P55-UD6 P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 30th August 2009This is our first ever episode filmed in Taiwan. NOT. Actually it’s just filmed on a giant world map that we found near our office in the area that represents Taiwan. I hope you enjoy my coverage of the Gigabyte P55-UD6 motherboard! Gigabyte P55M-UD4 P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 28th August 2009Well that was really embarassing. Yesterday when I meant to upload this video, I accidently uploaded one of the takes that I wrecked. It would have been fine except that while I was uploading I deleted all of the “bad” takes from my camera including the real good take. Oh well. I took some time today and not only re-shot the P55M-UD4, but also the rest of the Gigabyte line up. I’ll be releasing the videos day by day, so stay tuned. I’ve also got authorization now to do a LOT more unboxing/showcase videos for my blog, so basically I’ll be opening up anything I can get my hands on for your YouTube viewing enjoyment! MSI P55-GD80 P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 20th August 2009The response to these P55 unboxing videos has been tremendous, so I have a new goal. I’m going to do an uboxing of every P55 motherboard I can get my hands on in the weeks leading up to the P55 launch, and hopefully I’ll have them all done by about 1 week after the launch. Stay tuned for more first looks! MSI P55-CD53 P55 LGA1156 Core i5 Motherboard UnboxingPosted by: Linus on 18th August 2009I’ve got the whole MSI P55 family with me now. I’m excited to bring your my unboxing of what I think could be one of the hottest P55 motherboards at launch. MSI is targeting a very aggressive price… Video Blog Post – MSI P55-GD65 LGA1156 MotherboardPosted by: Linus on 6th August 2009So I got a great package today… in the mail. Was pretty excited to open this and shot a quick video showing some highlights of this interesting new, unreleased product. This is completely unedited and just shot on my camera in video mode, so the quality kinda sucks. Sorry :p Core i7 D0 Stepping now available from NCIX.comPosted by: Linus on 7th May 2009Well I pulled some strings and I managed to get some SLBEJ or D0 stepping processors locked into a new SKU so that we can sell them as “guaranteed D0″ CPUs. They will cost a few bucks more, but I think it’s reasonable considering that these things are like hen’s teeth and most places won’t guarantee anything. If you want the link it’s here. I even threw a $25 instant rebate on it. http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=38881&vpn=BX80601920%20-%20D0&manufacture=Intel |
