CA: ncix.com US: us.ncix.com Pretty ballin’ gaming notebook here. Core i7, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 560M graphics card make it a very capable little gaming device!

ncix.com Sure my search result is ASUS motherboards, but this cool little app works on ANY motherboard!

ncix.com An absolutely marvelous first attempt from ASUS. Great looks, comfort and sound! What more could you ask for in a gaming headset?

So there’s been a lot of talk about the ASUS Transformer Prime delays. Thought I’d see how big of a deal the “reception problems” are myself. Since I’m going to have to walk around my house a fair bit, I thought I’d also do a tour of my house since many viewers have asked for one. The conclusion is that I don’t think the wifi performance issues are that big of a deal, but I commend ASUS for taking quality so seriously that as soon as they saw any kind of deficiency with the performance of their product they re-worked it so their customers wouldn’t have any issues. Bravo, ASUS. Better than others in the mobile space… Looking at you, Apple!

www.ncix.com This thing basically turns the Transformer Prime into a pretty ballin’ little Android based notebook.

www.ncix.com Performance comes in all shapes and sizes these days. This particular performance package is an mATX one ;)

CA: www.ncix.com US: www.us.ncix.com This is ASUS’s “bang for the buck” winner for X79 in my opinion. It doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles of the higher end boards, but the performance features are definitely there.

www.ncix.com Available in two colours: Ass-kicking, and other more different ass-kicking. This thing rocks!

ncix.com USB sound cards exist to fill the gap between horrible onboard notebook sound cards and higher quality solutions that come on PCI cards that are only really possible on the desktop. The U3 from ASUS attempts to one-up the other USB cards on the market by adding a powered headphone amp to go along with the higher quality audio output.

ncix.com Slick and I are going to have to spend some SERIOUS time on this one before we can do our proper NCIX Tech Tips on it. For the unboxing we’re going mostly based on what ASUS has to say about it, but stay tuned on my NCIXcom channel for a more in-depth look. We’ll be testing against the Xonar Essence STX, Slick’s USB DAC, and we’ll be using HD555, HD595, and (potentially, if we can get our hands on them) HD800 headphones from Sennheiser.
