Here I take a look at the 5970 in terms of what kind of gargantuan case you’re going to need to install this crazy thing. I’m using the Corsair 800D, but I suppose there might be a couple more cases out there that will support it. Seriously though, this thing is HUGE. Even gamer-oriented cases like the Antec 900 won’t fit it without modifications.

I have a question concerning the video card sizes. Do you have any idea / information about how big (especially long) new cards will become? I’ve already ordered my new Lian Li P50 Case (I don’t really like big tower cases) and after there specification it’ll carry only video cards with max. 29cm in length. The Radeon 5970 is about 31cm long.
