Today I’m having a quick look at the Crosshair III Formula, which is arguably the most “premium” AM3 board out there since it’s the top of the range “Republic of Gamers” board from ASUS.
With the clear CMOS button on the back of the board, what are the odds of clearing your settings if your fumbling around trying to plug in a usb connection. Do you have to press it for a curtain amount of time, hold for 5 sec or if just give it a quick press does it rest?

It won’t reset anything while the system is running.
